With USDA support, we created this site as a landing page for both buyers and sellers to assess their Wholesale knowledge and find resources to improve and grow. The CARES Act provided millions to Dane County for local food purchases in 2020, but many smaller farms missed out due to a lack of visibility.
Our Wholesale Readiness Marketplace aimed to solve this problem by connecting farmers and buyers directly. Farmers could list their products and details, while buyers could easily search and find suitable suppliers.
